One of the most crucial aspects of modern working environments is the effectiveness with which employees achieve their business objectives – and, of course, the focus is always on optimising the principle of ‘the best possible result with the least possible effort’. Numerous international studies have now demonstrated that business centres offer ideal working environments for significantly increasing productivity.
“We naturally keep abreast of the latest findings from occupational psychologists and research institutions,” explains Dr André Helf, CEO of the Collection Group, “for example, the world-renowned Fraunhofer Institute has found that work motivation stems from well-being in the workplace and that the attractiveness of an office is greatly influenced by factors such as fittings and functionality. The growing popularity of business centres is due not least to the fact that many business owners experience the increase in their productivity first-hand – according to a study by the British company ZZA Responsive User Environments, which surveyed a representative sample of 17,000 business centre clients worldwide, this is partly due to the extremely high cost-efficiency and greatly improved scalability of working in a business centre. For Dr Helf, the advantages are clear: “Naturally, our clients have their minds completely free to focus on their business objectives; with us, they don’t have to worry about building repairs or the functionality of equipment – we take care of that for them. Furthermore, our clients stay only as long as necessary; they do not have to sign long-term tenancy agreements which they might be unable to honour due to business and market developments. This relieves them of cost pressures.”
Another aspect that many of those surveyed consider important for greater productivity is the synergy effect that arises in business centres. COLLECTION has recognised this.
