Business Centers: Pillars of Modern Work Environments

04/10/2018 2018 Created by Mike Remmert

Modern work environments have become places of continuing change, according to a documentary entitled „Megatrend New Word“, issued by the world-renowned think tank „Zukunftsinstitut“ in Frankfurt, Germany. Many experts from Europe, the United States and Asia and from various walks of business have contributed studies and research to the publication, with unambiguous results: In order to optimize employees’ productivity, creativity and energy, offices spaces and entire work-flow processes need dramatic restructuring.

„When we conceptualized our COLLECTION Business Centers, we took great care in examining and understanding the challenges associated with components such as work design, start-up culture, outsourcing and work-life-balance,“ explains Dr André Helf, CEO of COLLECTION Group, „these tasks are predominantly governed by the immense growth of digitalization and globalization. Design and configuration of future work environments are of imminent importance: Our business centers with their first class ambience are an invitation for our clients to feel more comfortable and motivated than in old, musty offices with uninspiring decorations.“

The start-up scene in particular has discovered huge advantages provided by COLLECTION business centers, such as flexible office sizes and short-term lease options. With start-ups constituting an important group of clients for COLLECTION Business Centers, Dr Helf follows their needs: „Start-ups are comprised of interdisciplinary work flows, like the constant exchange of research and development through unorthodox channels in a very fast-paced structure. It is essential for many of those new companies to utilize their financial basis as best they can. Our concept is truly unique for those needs.“

Outsourcing is another important aspect, according to Dr Helf: „It’s a concept of economic viability, inevitable for many of our clients in order to generate the best possible profit margins. Recurrent processes, in particular, are outsourced more and more often – flexible structures of the work spaces as regulated by individual requirements are mandatory for those clients. We are in a constant dialogue with our customers so we are on top of the most recent developments.“

Last but not least: the importance of work-life-balance factors has become a crucial element for many companies. „Modern work environments feature much more diversity and speed than twenty years ago,“ says Dr Helf, „our philosophy mandates that we turn challenges into opportunities: our business centers invite our clients to enjoy their work days surrounded by luxury furniture and functionality, enabling them to be creative – and save lots of money under the bottom line.“
