Thanks to the very high demand and popularity of the products, most locations are already fully booked and waiting lists are forming in many places. Sale activities for the new location in Hamburg are also in full progress.
Hit the nerve of time
With the flexible and simple office letting in the premium segment, the right strategy was chosen right from the start. All locations in Dusseldorf, Frankfurt/Main and Hamburg are fully booked; the Vienna location has also achieved an occupancy rate of over 90%. Reservations for next summer are already being accepted in Dusseldorf and Frankfurt/Main. Thus, the company has far exceeded its own targets.
Obviously, COLLECTION Business Center serves its own target groups with the right office solutions by constantly adapting and expanding its product range. A quick conversion to market conditions is no challenge for the company. In addition, the constantly increasing brand awareness is also generating greater demand, which is attributable to both the rebranding and the relaunch of the website. Prospects immediately know what the company is standing for and what to expect.
The expansion of the coworking products, which was carried out at the beginning of the year, is also very well received by customers. Thanks to the different packages, everyone can find the right scalable solution. The coworking segment has quickly established itself as a mainstay of the business model and has become an indispensable part of every business center. The furniture concepts tested in the shared offices were very well received by users and will be used in further locations.
Positive outlook for next year
The new business center will open its doors at the top address in Hamburg on January 1st, 2020: Neuer Wall 80. All sales channels were prepared and activated during the summer months. As of today, more than 30% of the office space has already been let and coworking space and virtual offices are also being secured by the companies at this time. No other location has received so many reservations before the opening. But this location also has a symbolic value for the company. It was part of the Excellent Business Center site series – a company that used to belong to the owners of COLLECTION Business Center.
In order to satisfy the high demand, an additional location is also being sought in Dusseldorf. Discussions with the owners are already well advanced. This would already be the third location in the prosperous Rhine city. But also, in Frankfurt/Main the search for a second location has already progressed. The only drop of bitterness remains the planned business center in Cologne: Due to construction progress, the Wallarkaden on Rudolfplatz will probably not be opened by summer 2021.

The Group CEO, Dr. André Helf, looks forward to the next business year with great anticipation: "Our expectations for 2019 were far exceeded. While many competitors’ centers are at least half empty, we can hardly meet the demand at the moment". This confirms that the strategic concept and the impeccable differentiation of the company are working out well and that there is even more room for improvement. "Unfortunately, some construction projects are making slow progress, which is due to the full order books of the construction companies," Dr. Helf continues, "we would like to step on the gas when it comes to new openings if it were possible. Nevertheless, he is optimistic that he will be able to open a third location in Dusseldorf next year. Of course, we will report on this soon.
